Toshio Matsubara produces traditional kimonos. His son, Nobuo, adds a modern touch by making table centerpieces, small bags, noren, furoshiki, handkerchiefs, and also kimonos. Mayo, wife of Toshio, makes framed pictures of indigo designs, handkerchiefs, bags, and other small items.
